Last night I went to Denise's house (she is my amazing team leader), for a shoe box swap with some of my fellow CraftDStamper team mates. The swap was for each of us to make a card, then put all the pieces to make said card in a "shoebox" which would get passed around for each person to make, there were eight of us altogether. We also had a time limit of 10 mins per card. Denise and I were a little off with the amount of time required to complete our cards, much to the chagrin of those who were making them. Time management has never been one of my strong points.
The swap was a blast, lots of talking, laughing and carrying on, in between bouts of silence as we were all concentrating on getting our cards done in the allotted time. And at the end of the evening we all had a stack of gorgeous cards (I must say our team is full of extremely talented ladies) to take home along with some fresh ideas for our own make n takes and workshops. You can read more about our evening along with pictures at Denise's blog, CraftDBear.
Below is my card, the one that took people a little more than 10 mins to complete, sorry to my fellow team mates. It was inspired by Dawn Olchefske's card on her blog DoStamping. I love Dawn's ideas and her YouTube videos always inspire me.
